sALE POLICIES
Prices: If you are buying an individual rabbit, they are they price posted on the website. 4-H members are offered a 25% discount.
Holding: Rabbits can be "held" or reserved for sale meaning no one else can buy it until you decide if you would like to purchase the rabbit or not. There is no charge to hold pet rabbits, but show rabbits require an extra 5 dollars on the final price if they are held. The maximum time you can hold a rabbit is for two weeks.
Delivery and Payment: To protect our rabbits, we prefer not to let anyone into the rabbitry as they could be carrying diseases. Our preferred way of delivering a rabbit is to meet somewhere and give you the rabbit. A cage and water will not be supplied, however a small bag of food will be given to get the rabbit adjusted to their new feed. A sheet instructing how to care for the rabbit will also be provided.
Examination of the Rabbit: When we meet you can examine the rabbit as much as you like, ask any questions, and hold it to see if it is the right rabbit for you. If you are not satisfied, we can always discuss a different rabbit for you to look at.
Returns: We cannot always accept returns because when we get rid of a rabbit it is usually to make room for another. However, we will try our best to take it back but PLEASE, NEVER RELEASE ONE OF OUR RABBITS INTO THE WILD. THEY CANNOT CARE FOR THEMSELVES AND WILL DIE QUICKLY. If you absolutely need to get rid of it and we cannot take it, we recommend taking it to a shelter or trying to sell it yourself.
Health: I will guarantee any rabbit I have sold for three days, the time it would take for any disease from my rabbitry to show up. Beyond this, I will not replace any rabbits or give a refund unless they become sick within the first three days. If they become sick, notify me IMMEDIATLY, and not after the rabbit is already dead.
